Study tours Services In Cameroon
We organize study tours and cultural exchange program for students, young people and adults interested in the Cameroonian way of life and tourism to Cameroon.
The cultural exchange programs give students the opportunity to have a
first hand experience of the Cameroon education system and its culture. We offer caring, inspiring and supportive environment to all the incoming tour members. We believe learning takes place both inside and out side the class room and no aspect should be ignored.
All our tours are tailor-made to suit the needs of each group and combine exciting educational tourism and cultural exchange activities. The duration of the tour may vary depending on the interest and needs of each incoming group. We organize study tours/tourism to all corners of Cameroon as may be required by each group.
One of the aspects of our tours which separate us from the lot is our affinity towards home stay. No matter which part of Cameroon we organize a tour to; we make sure that each student/tour member stays with a local family. We believe that it is only through home stay that a student can truly absorb and experience the culture of that particular area. 2 students are hosted by one family. Home stay families are carefully nominated by us on the basis of their ability to cater needs of international students or group of tourist etc
Another very important part of our tours is our emphasis on visits to schools and universities, traditional palaces and traditional evenings which include dances and traditional meals and above all the most captivating touristic sites in Cameroon which includes Mt Cameroon (The highest Mt in west Africa and most diverse in its ecosystem) Waza national park, Mt korup (sponsored by the European union), pigmies community in Cameroon etc etc. We Make sure that every group visits schools not only do they visit but also undertake a few hours of classes. This helps the student to understand the Cameroonian way of education and interact with the
students there and share with each other their experiences and build long lasting relationships. Also in the villages, the group meets personally with the traditional chief, share in the traditional cultural evenings etc.
The process:
1) Nomination of a representative by each member of the group.
2) Nominated representative carefully analyses the interests of the group. This is a very important step in organizing the tour; based on the individual needs and interests do we organize a tour. We want the tour to be a leaning and enriching experience with a lot of fun and discoveries.
3) We then organize the tour focusing on the group’s interest.
Cost of tour
The actual cost of the tour will depend on each group’s interest, length of the tour and the places to visit as well as activities to carry out e.g. hunting during tours to mountains etc. This will be discussed in detail once the representative is nominated and interest of the group given.
